U's XI
Eastwood, Welch-Hayes, Dunkley, Martin, Skarz, MacDonald, Lundstram, Sercombe, Maguire, Taylor, Hemmings.

Team news - Both Chey Dunkley and Wes Thomas were on the bus to Fleetwood. Both will be assessed at a training session in Wigan today.

United may give a 1st team debut to Miles Welch-Hayes at Fleetwood tomorrow night. With Sam Long suspended following his dismissal at Bristol on Sunday and Christian Ribeiro's ankle injury, Welch-Hayes is the only recognised right back available.

Bristol Rovers 2-1 OUFC
A poor performance saw United lose away to Bristol Rovers. The U's fell behind in the 25th minute when a defensive error by Aaron Martin let in Easter. United equalised on 41 minutes with Kane Hemmings getting his first goal for the club. In the second half the U's were reduced to 10 men on 67 minutes when Sam Long received a 2nd yellow card. Liam Sercombe moved into the right back slot and within 5 minutes he mis-guided a header into the path of Matt Taylor who scored the winner for the home side.

United 1 - 1 Chesterfield
United gained their 1st point in League 1 despite injury problems before and during the match. Sam Long came in for Ribeiro who had been injured in training. Chey Dunkley suffered a hamstring injury 5 minutes from half time, Joe Skarz moved to the centre of defence and Josh Ruffles came on into the left back spot.
Wes Thomas gave United the lead on 30 minutes with a tap in after a great crossfield ball by Maguire gave Macdonald the chance to shoot. The keeper only managed to parry the shot to Thomas.
Chesterfield equalised from a direct free kick on 76 minutes. Given the injury issues this was a good point gained by the U's.

Christian Ribeiro out for about 6 weeks after suffering a fractured ankle in training on Friday. Aaron Martin was also missing from the matchday squad due a badly blistered foot.

United lost 1-2 to a strong Leicester City side
at the Kassam tonight. The U's took a 13th lead with a well taken free kick by Chris Maguire. The Foxes equalised on 28 through Demarai Gray, after Wes Thomas missed a golden opportunity a minute earlier to give the U's a two goal advantage, with a shot across Simon Eastwood that went in off the far post. The U's were forced to substitute Curtis Nelson (ankle) with Aaron Martin just before half time. HT 1-1. Leicester made 4 changes at the start of the 2nd half and 6 more on the hour. A great block by Eastwood from Okazaki's header and magnificent last ditch tackle by Martin on Shlupp kept the U's in the game. Ashby & Giles relaced Crowley & Maguire on 64 minutes. Shlupp was not to be denied and he slotted home from 20 yards on 68 minutes. The U's almost leveled from the restart after Lundstrum found Skarz whose cross was met by Taylor but his shot lacked power. Long came on for Ribeiro on 74 and Jeacock & Roberts replaced Taylor & Thomas after 84 minutes.
